Every year I count the days down until I can shoot streetball in NYC. Now that the time is here, I am a like a kid in a candy store. With so many great tournaments to choose from, I try my best to make it to all of the elite summer leagues throughout the city.
Kavon "Happy Feet" Jones-Lytch works the baseline like it's a tight rope and is one of the best finishers around the rim in NYC.
July 6th marked the third weekend of action at the Tri-State Classic and featured Bingo's All-Stars vs Patterson Plus and Raw 129th vs Sean Bell All-Stars.
The story of the night was Kemba "EZ-Pass" Walker suiting up for Bingo's All-Stars, a team he's played for long before his NBA days. Patterson Plus made things interesting in the first half. Bashir Grimes caught a nice backwards banger in transition to give his squad from New Jersey some momentum.
Anthony "Africa" Pimble of Bingo's All-Stars, is known for his ability to sky above everyone else on the court and finish above the rim.
As always, I was thrilled to have had the opportunity to go out there and create my shots from the sidelines.
