My Recent Ripples On The Web
So it's been a while since I last updated my blog. I'm sorry! My goal is to be consistent with my blog posts, but I've been spending a lot of time behind my camera (and enjoying every click of its shutter!).
Here's a quick and dirty rundown of some of the things I've been up to lately.
Shooting for Brand Jordan's Terminal 23 (a super exclusive basketball facility a stone's throw from Madison Square Garden dedicated to Carmelo Anthony's 10th anniversary with the brand), I was thrilled to cover the Terminal 23 Take Flight NYC tournament which culminated with the finalists sharing a suite at The World's Most Famous Arena for the Knicks vs Bulls game. The championship game was then played on the Garden's floor where the two teams met Melo and competed on some of the most hallowed grounds in the Mecca of basketball.
My images and recap of the game was featured on Slam Magazine's website. Slam has always been my favorite basketball magazine. Some day I hope to get my image(s) featured as the coveted Slam-a-da-month like so many that have plastered my walls as a kid.
My friend, and Bleacher Report NBA analyst, Jared Zwerling has been very busy crafting some awesome stories that capture the essence of the players in ways that are revealing and compelling, but not necessarily at the forefront of the media. I was excited to join him for two such stories so far with Al Harrington of the Washington Wizards and Shaun Livingston of the Brooklyn Nets, respectively. Check out the links to see some of my latest work around the web.
Laslty, an oldie but goodie, check out my written and visual work for the Jordan Brand-sponsored Tri State Classic summer league in NYC from last year. I have dozens of posts and a plethora of images chronicling the brightest stars and legends of NYC, including Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Bobcats. With summer only a few short weeks away, I can't wait to ensconce myself on the sidelines of NYC's legendary summer tournaments.
That's all for now. Check back soon as I'm working on some projects that I'm especially excited about and am looking forward to sharing here in the near future.
