My grandfather sits in front of his building with his best friends. East Harlem, NYC 2017. Shot on a Hasselblad 501CM with Kodak Tri-X 400 film.
I started my journey with photography on film and lately I can’t get enough of it. I’ve gone through dozens of rolls of 120 medium format film and I have a hard time leaving home without it these days. With that said, I’d like to share some of my recent images.
Sebastian sits on the basket in the sky. Dallas, TX 2017. Shot on a Hasselblad 501cm with Fuji Pro 400h film.
iPhone shot of the Mamiya RB67 as I prepare to freeze a moment on a basketball court in Paris, France.
Basketball court in Paris, France that was shot on my Hasselblad 501CM using Kodak Tri-X 400 film.
My lovely muse (and patient wife) poses for me in Paris, France. Shot on Mamiya RB67 using Fuji Pro 400h film.
Cole (left) and Shasha (right) sit for me in Springfield, MA. This is shot on the Mamiya RB67 using Fuji Pro 400h film and connected to strobes via PocketWizards.
Aldin poses for me in Springfield, MA. Shot on Mamiya RB67 using Fuji Pro 400h film. One of my favorite features on the RB67 is the ability to switch between shooting portrait or landscape by simply rotating the film back (as opposed to the entire camera).
I was roaming the streets of SoHo in NYC with a group on a photo walk when this guy appears with a vibrant blue faux fur jacket and was happy to have his photo taken, so boom! This was one of those great serendipitous moments and I was lucky to have my film loaded and ready to go. Shot on Mamiya RB67 using Ilford HP5+ film.
