Entertainer's Basketball Classic Takes Over The Barclays Center

Naofall Folahan reps NYC in the EBC Celebrity game and throws this one down much to the delight of rappers Fabolous, LL Cool J, Jadakiss, Big Sean and a host of other celebrities in attendance for the game in Brooklyn, NY.

On Sunday, July 27, 2014 the Entertainer's Basketball Classic (EBC) held its celebrity game at the home of the Brooklyn Nets. Although the top rafters were sealed off, the Barclays Center felt like it had a sell-out crowd by most standards, especially considering the limitations of most NYC parks (including Rucker Park) to accommodate fans.

The legendary Queens native and hip-hop icon LL Cool J shows that his form is ready if a team may need him to lace up and take the floor.

With two teams representing New York City (partially due to the Philadelphia team pulling out) and two teams representing Los Angeles and the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMC) area respectively, those in attendance were in for a treat to some high level basketball. Add to that the fact that each team was sponsored by a big-name artist from their hometown.

Wale was in attendance to support the DMV squad; Kendrck Lamar, although not in attendance, supported team L.A.; and French Montana and Fabolous rocked with the two NYC squads respectively.

Brooklyn's own Fabolous took the floor and performed a few of his hits, including Cuffin Season, for the EBC crowd at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

And if that was not enough, Big Sean, Fabolous, Troy Ave, Oun P, Jadakiss, and Rowdy Rebbel, who drew the most energy from the crowd with his "Shmoney Dance" track, all performed in between games and during halftimes.

Brooklyn Nets backup guard Jarret Jack suited up for his hometown (Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia) squad in the EBC Celebrity Game at the Barclays Center. Jack pulls up for a jumper over the outstretched arms of former Seton Hall Standout, Jeremy "Cabbie" Hazell (black uniform).

Not that the famed and well-documented EBC needed any extra credibility, but the legendary LL Cool J was courtside enjoying the game. He even showed his form from the sidelines as the on-court action moved him!

Once the event got started, it was exciting. The talent was excellent and the entertainment was top notch. And, I had an especially great time from the sidelines creating my shots of all the action.

Jadakiss sat courtside to enjoy the games before his performance at the Barclays Center during the EBC Celebrity Game.

Former Net (with New Jersey), Marcus Williams represented Los Angeles at the EBC Celebrity Game held at the Barclays Center.

I know it's been a while since my last post, but I hope you enjoy these images for now. I do hope to catch you up to some of the amazing experiences my camera has afforded me lately. Until then, peace!
