Respect The Shooter Photography Exhibit on December 1st

Since I can remember, I've always been a shooter. Literally and figuratively. Before I picked up a camera, basketball was my passion. No matter what was going on in my life at any given time, I found solace on the court. I played the game with the aspirations of making it to the NBA. My specialty? Shooting. I would spend hours on the court perfecting my shot.

Along the way my grandmother gave me a film camera while I was in high school and a new creative passion was born. I started out in the darkroom, developing and printing my own images. It was a magical experience that provided tranquility and similar comfort to what I found with a basketball in my hands.

I was once told if you shoot for the moon, the worst that could happen is you'll fall among the stars. I've always aimed high. Today, basketball and photography take me around the world. I am thrilled and fortunate to have married two of my greatest passions in life.

On December 1st, during the opening of my exhibition, I will share a limited selection of prints that I hope will provide a glimpse of the adventures that have come of my passion. None other than the world renowned Bobbito Garcia a.k.a. Kool Bob Love—a good friend and mentor to me over the years—will be spinning for the occasion. Also, my good friend Alex Woodhouse will be exhibiting a selection of his images as well. If you're in NYC, I hope you can join me at Camaradas.
